The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Yenicaga's goal looked a bit too open when Güvenç Sıbgatullah came free, but Rahim Altınpınar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Arın Tuncalp dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cumali Uzsoy, 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Ziya Akoğul made a kick off. Güvenç Sıbgatullah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rahim Altınpınar having to interfere. Rahim Altınpınar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Ziya Akoğul in the 54th minute of the match. Güvenç Sıbgatullah struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Rahim Altınpınar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Auset SK.
