Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Saadettin Bozlak started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 9 minutes into the match, Tahtakale's goal looked a bit too open when Bayhan Temur came free, but Yavuz Bülent Katib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yavuz Bülent Katib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saadettin Bozlak in the 10th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Bayhan Temur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yavuz Bülent Katib was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. When Saadettin Bozlak came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Menekse SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saadettin Bozlak couldn't finish the play. Tahtakale's Metin Atasan managed to work through Menekse SK's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Metin Atasan dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 30 minutes into the game, Gani Cerit was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tahtakale's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Menekse SK the free kick. The supporters of Menekse SK booed when Tahtakale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gani Cerit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yavuz Bülent Katib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayhan Temur, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The supporters of Menekse SK booed when Tahtakale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kudret Savaşer didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bayhan Temur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Menekse SK's Saadettin Bozlak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yavuz Bülent Katib narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bayhan Temur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Metin Atasan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Tahtakale getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Metin Atasan hit a great ball. Yavuz Bülent Katib made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saadettin Bozlak in the 57th minute of play. Menekse SK's Mehmet Osman Cevan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Selçuk Kaim in the 58th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Tahtakale got a freekick which was hit by Denizhan Sarim. In the 62nd minute, Erdeniz Pekdeger fired a really elegant long shot, but Yavuz Bülent Katib threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Tahtakale's Gani Cerit got his second yellow card of the match in the 62nd minute. The referee ordered Gani Cerit off the ground. Yavuz Bülent Katib stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saadettin Bozlak's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Arslan İlighan kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Ahmet Kutsi Uygan, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 74th minute, Bayhan Temur reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yavuz Bülent Katib. The goal made the score 0-2. After 79 minutes, Kudret Savaşer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tahtakale and the Menekse SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tahtakale getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Kudret Savaşer hit a great ball. Saadettin Bozlak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Menekse SK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Menekse SK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
