Malatya FK's Ali Nabi Secaat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Malatya FK from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Malatya FK's Ali Nabi Secaat got control of the ball when Enginsu Özbey tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 10th match minute, Malatya FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hayrullah Taykoç to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Vehdi Yılğıralp took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ali Nabi Secaat to make any attempt to save it. Vehdi Yılğıralp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Nabi Secaat was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Fadıl Yergin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fadıl Yergin really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Ali Nabi Secaat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vehdi Yılğıralp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enginsu Özbey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ali Nabi Secaat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vehdi Yılğıralp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vehdi Yılğıralp in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Nabi Secaat saved Malatya FK from getting behind. When Enginsu Özbey came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Bozdogan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enginsu Özbey couldn't finish the play. Vehdi Yılğıralp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Nabi Secaat having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Bozdogan's Baturhan Tekinel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ali Nabi Secaat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 67thth minute of the game Enginsu Özbey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malatya FK's Ali Nabi Secaat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Vehdi Yılğıralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Necat Enginalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Orhan Veli İlteber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Necat Enginalp's late challenge caught a Bozdogan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Necat Enginalp helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes Malatya FK got a freekick which was hit by Necat Enginalp. When Vehdi Yılğıralp came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Bozdogan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vehdi Yılğıralp couldn't finish the play. Ali Nabi Secaat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vehdi Yılğıralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 88th minute, Vehdi Yılğıralp made a precise shot to the right of Ali Nabi Secaat. Malatya FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Vehdi Yılğıralp sped through Malatya FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ali Nabi Secaat. 97 minutes into the game, Baturhan Tekinel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Ali Nabi Secaat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bozdogan fully deserved thier win.
