But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Semail Kantürk couldn't finish the play. İdris Sami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KARŞIYAKA's Semail Kantürk got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 32 played minutes Siteler FK got a freekick which was hit by Barışcan Zade. Yavuz Selimhan Taşan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İdris Sami in the 36th minute of play. If Aybars Vahat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when İdris Sami made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in KARŞIYAKA's zone, İdris Sami stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yavuz Selimhan Taşan came out of the goal and İdris Sami tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling İdris Sami in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yavuz Selimhan Taşan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aybars Vahat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Savaş Şanlı fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KARŞIYAKA's protests and gave Savaş Şanlı a yellow card for diving instead. Savaş Şanlı hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Kudret Dural received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ahmet Kadri Şahdar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yavuz Selimhan Taşan made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Aybars Vahat sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute İdris Sami shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yavuz Selimhan Taşan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kudret Dural fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Kadri Şahdar having to interfere. If Aybars Vahat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st match minute, KARŞIYAKA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melih Cevdet Dertsiz to maneuver through the defense.
