In the 12th minute, Afşin Topay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cemil Tekinel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hadi Duran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cemil Tekinel having to interfere. If Eray Yılğıralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cemil Tekinel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hadi Duran in the 27th minute of the match. Derya Özkaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Şadi Çağkar's late challenge caught a Düzce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şadi Çağkar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Düzce booed when Korkuteli JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şadi Çağkar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Güvenç Okdemir kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After 81 minutes of play Korkuteli JK's Şadi Çağkar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Mete Ekvan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Düzce's supporters rose to their feet, but Mete Ekvan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hüseyin Can Zirve breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Korkuteli JK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Korkuteli JK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
