Güralp Erşahan made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Atabek Taki sent off a good shot on target. Zara SK's Güralp Erşahan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güngör Benli in the 4th minute of play. Mehmet Efe İlhan's late challenge caught a Zara SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mehmet Efe İlhan helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes Aydinlar SK got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Efe İlhan. After having played for 8 minutes, Dinçer Somer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zara SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dinçer Somer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Aydinlar SK getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Mehmet Efe İlhan hit a great ball. Aydinlar SK's Atabek Taki got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Atabek Taki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aydinlar SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Atabek Taki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Güralp Erşahan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atabek Taki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dinçer Somer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sermet Bayram having to interfere. Zara SK's Güralp Erşahan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Zara SK from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute, Zara SK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Güngör Benli fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ahmet Çağrı Onatkan kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Güngör Benli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güralp Erşahan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Zara SK's zone, Atabek Taki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Güralp Erşahan came out of the goal and Atabek Taki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 70 played minutes Zara SK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Bedri Salikbey. When Güngör Benli came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Aydinlar SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Güngör Benli couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atabek Taki in the 72nd minute of play forced Zara SK's goalkeeper Güralp Erşahan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Ahmet Bedri Salikbey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Güngör Benli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Güralp Erşahan was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. 78 minutes into the match, Zara SK's goal looked a bit too open when Bilge Onaran came free, but Güralp Erşahan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Aydinlar SK players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
