Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raşit Bağcı started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bedri Özdoruk got free with Şerafettin Safa in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Şerafettin Safa was a little too slow when Gökay Kutulmuş got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. The audience was convinced that Gökay Kutulmuş's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Şerafettin Safa was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 13 minutes in the game, Gökay Kutulmuş fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Şerafettin Safa having to interfere. Raşit Bağcı struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Mehmet Ali Necmi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for İzmirspor. 16 minutes into the game, one of muşspor:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sezai Tacik in the 25th minute of play forced muşspor's goalkeeper Mehmet Ali Necmi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şerafettin Safa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bedri Özdoruk in the 30th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gökay Kutulmuş in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Şerafettin Safa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Şerafettin Safa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökay Kutulmuş, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. muşspor's Bedri Özdoruk got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. muşspor's Bedri Özdoruk was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 41st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A hard shot 46 in the game by Bedri Özdoruk from a close distance when the talented Şerafettin Safa managed to make a qualified save. İzmirspor's players were relieved. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Gökay Kutulmuş managed to get in a good position for a shot. muşspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Gökay Kutulmuş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şerafettin Safa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gökay Kutulmuş in the 54th minute of play forced İzmirspor's goalkeeper Şerafettin Safa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şerafettin Safa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bedri Özdoruk's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gökay Kutulmuş in the 62nd minute of play forced İzmirspor's goalkeeper Şerafettin Safa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. muşspor's Bedri Özdoruk got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, İzmirspor's Yakup Kadri Tanbey got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 67 played minutes İzmirspor got a freekick which was hit by Yaşar Nuri Topdemir. After a defensive mix-up in İzmirspor's zone, Bedri Özdoruk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şerafettin Safa came out of the goal and Bedri Özdoruk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Kılıç Kıvılcım hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Ahmet Göktuğ Irgatbaşı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Şerafettin Safa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bedri Özdoruk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Göktuğ Irgatbaşı was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. İzmirspor's Şerafettin Safa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gökay Kutulmuş in the 89th minute of play. Bedri Özdoruk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Şerafettin Safa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gökay Kutulmuş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The muşspor fans cheered their team off the field, for while İzmirspor had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
