Yenibosna's Doğaner Tümerkin got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Doğaner Tümerkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Kadri Işık having to interfere. Kuddusî Uçur might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yavuz Selim Yonal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After having played for 22 minutes, Kuddusî Uçur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
