Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Colombia's attentive Kevin Mastache managed to snatch the ball when Jailson da Mata made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Celso Javiar made a huge save. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Colombia's attentive Antonio Indiano managed to snatch the ball when Jailson da Mata made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. 37 minutes into the match, Milferio's goalkeeper Celso Javiar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. Milferio's Celso Javiar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Milferio from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Celso Javiar threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Santino Seco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Celso Javiar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 46th minute. After the first half Milferio were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Terry Jamieson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terry Jamieson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Terry Jamieson came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Javiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milferio's supporters rose to their feet, but Terry Jamieson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. In the 72ndth minute of the game Ignacio Mastache who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Milferio's Celso Javiar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Cucao kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Celso Javiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 81st minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Milferio's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Secada came free, but Celso Javiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terry Jamieson in the 85th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90thth minute of the game Abram Secada who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Milferio's Celso Javiar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Terry Jamieson's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. When Milferio's Terry Jamieson, in the 92nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Milferio. Milferio's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
