Manchester United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sekerspor SK the free kick. Berker Nesil came out of the goal and Macit Rahmet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Paşa Ali Rıza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Çağrı Ziver in the 43rd minute of play forced Manchester United's goalkeeper Berker Nesil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mehmet Çağrı Ziver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berker Nesil having to interfere.

In the 60th minute, Mustafa Haydar Üstüner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Berker Nesil successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 66 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Çağrı Ziver came free, but Berker Nesil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Manchester United's Özbek Şenaltan got a free kick in the 67th minute. Güneş Horasanlı's late challenge caught a Manchester United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mehmet Çağrı Ziver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berker Nesil having to interfere. Berker Nesil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Çağrı Ziver in the 91st minute of the match. Paşa Ali Rıza in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Berker Nesil, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
