The referee ignored Melikgazi's protests and gave Enginsu Ongar a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Melikgazi's Enginsu Ongar got a free kick in the 11th minute. The supporters of Sekerspor SK booed when Melikgazi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Battal Gazi Eldemir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sekerspor SK's Battal Cüneyt Akçakoca got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute Oğuzalp Özgeer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özbek Kayra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Vefik Doğanhan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Özbek Kayra. Sekerspor SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ahmet Oğuz Oytun charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmet Oğuz Oytun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oğuzalp Özgeer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özbek Kayra having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oğuzalp Özgeer made a kick off. Sekerspor SK's Özbek Kayra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İstemihan Ünsever in the 51st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Mehmet Çağrı Ziver took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Ahmet Korcan Dersu to make any attempt to save it. Mehmet Çağrı Ziver struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Ahmet Korcan Dersu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sekerspor SK. In the 75thth minute of the game Oğuzalp Özgeer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sekerspor SK's Özbek Kayra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
