Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cüneyt Attaroğlu started the match with the kick off. Ankara JK's Serbülent Yesar got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Besikdüzü's Şevket Şükran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cavit Neyzen in the 5th minute of play. In the 10th minute Cavit Neyzen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şevket Şükran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ahmet Seyfi Çakmur came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Besikdüzü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Seyfi Çakmur couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Besikdüzü booed when Ankara JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seyhan Kerimhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Şevket Şükran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cavit Neyzen in the 18th minute of play. Sakut Usal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cüneyt Attaroğlu in the 21st minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Besikdüzü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yakut Uçuk to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute Ankara JK were awarded a corner. Ahmet Hayri Bilgen went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Ankara JK's Alkın Irgat getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Serbülent Yesar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şevket Şükran having to interfere. Sakut Usal acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Aytaç Saik. Cavit Neyzen might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Şevket Şükran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cavit Neyzen ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Besikdüzü's zone, Serbülent Yesar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şevket Şükran came out of the goal and Serbülent Yesar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serbülent Yesar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şevket Şükran having to interfere. When Seyhan Kerimhan fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ankara JK's protests and gave Seyhan Kerimhan a yellow card for diving instead. Seyhan Kerimhan kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Cavit Neyzen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şevket Şükran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cavit Neyzen made a kick off. Serbülent Yesar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Hayri Bilgen made a great header on Ankara JK's corner, it was just that Besikdüzü's Şevket Şükran managed to reach the ball for a save. İlhami Ortan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Şevket Şükran. Besikdüzü's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 65 played minutes Cavit Neyzen rounded Besikdüzü's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Ankara JK's Sakut Usal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cüneyt Attaroğlu in the 71st minute of play. Cavit Neyzen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şevket Şükran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After having played for 79 minutes, Kutlualp Tanuğur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ankara JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kutlualp Tanuğur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serbülent Yesar scored 1-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Şevket Şükran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th minute, Serbülent Yesar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cavit Neyzen struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Şevket Şükran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ankara JK. In the 91st minute, Serbülent Yesar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şevket Şükran was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. When the match was over Ankara JK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Besikdüzü throughout the match.
