Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cihangir's Tahir Ülkümen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ferdi Müjdat kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. When Tahir Ülkümen, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 10 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Mehmet Akif Gençyaz was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Cihangir's Hacı Orsan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tekin Ademoğlu in the 12th minute of play. İsmail Siddik's late challenge caught a MAVİCİLER FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İsmail Siddik helped the player get up and apologised. After 12 played minutes Cihangir got a freekick which was hit by İsmail Siddik. Tayyip Vahip sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferdi Müjdat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Hacı Orsan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Aytaç Aktar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. MAVİCİLER FC's Ziya Acemoğlu pulled a muscle in his back after 21 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Aytaç Aktar fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cihangir's protests and gave Aytaç Aktar a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of MAVİCİLER FC booed when Cihangir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 43rd minute, one of MAVİCİLER FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MAVİCİLER FC. In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Cihangir. Ali Nejat Bergin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mehmet Akif Gençyaz. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferdi Müjdat to make the kick off. Mehmet Akif Gençyaz came out of the goal and Tahir Ülkümen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
