In the 3rd minute Garip Torhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüştü Hastimur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafet Vahip kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Ahmet Boran Kutlay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cenk Hakan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garip Torhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rüştü Hastimur having to interfere. If Muammer Samet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cenk Hakan in the 22nd minute of play forced Orhangazi JK's goalkeeper Ahmet Boran Kutlay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Mustafa Birol Torhan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yenihisar's Rüştü Hastimur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Orhangazi JK booed when Yenihisar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Habib Türehan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Yenihisar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rüştü Hastimur should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. Despite being the better team, Orhangazi JK failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
