Aras Rekin hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Nebi Yalaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timur İlmi's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. The supporters of Korgun SK booed when Ilgaz SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurtuluş Gök didn't get a good kick on the ball. İlhan Durusan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nadir Piruz in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Nadir Piruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ilgaz SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Korgun SK the free kick. Nadir Piruz hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Cavit Kongur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Nebi Yalaz made a huge save. Nebi Yalaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timur İlmi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timur İlmi in the 35th minute of play forced Ilgaz SK's goalkeeper Nebi Yalaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kurtuluş Gök charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kurtuluş Gök the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 41 minutes, Batıkan Semi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ilgaz SK and the Korgun SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Cavit Kongur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Timur İlmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Timur İlmi made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Gafur Saygılı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Korgun SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Nebi Yalaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gafur Saygılı, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Ilgaz SK's Nebi Yalaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gafur Saygılı in the 59th minute of play. With a little luck, Korgun SK's İlhan Durusan got control of the ball when Batıkan Semi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Metin Özdoğan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. İlhan Durusan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nadir Piruz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 65 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Nadir Piruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ilgaz SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Nadir Piruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İlhan Durusan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ali Baran Taşkan kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
