Ahmet Kutsi İçöz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kurtuluş Aktemur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Ahmet Kutsi İçöz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Kurtuluş Aktemur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rdth minute of the game Kuddusî Gündeş who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but REAL MERSİN's Kasım Tecimer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th minute, Cevahir Özkaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When REAL MERSİN's Ahmet Kutsi İçöz in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ahmet Vefik Barkın who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Kurtuluş Aktemur when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 42 minutes, Ahmet Vefik Barkın managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. REAL MERSİN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Vefik Barkın was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind REAL MERSİN's goalkeeper Kasım Tecimer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kurtuluş Aktemur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Kutsi İçöz, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Ahmet Kutsi İçöz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. REAL MERSİN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Kutsi İçöz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Göktuğ Sanbay to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes REAL MERSİN got a freekick which was hit by Batuhan Özerk. Kurtuluş Aktemur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Kutsi İçöz in the 57th minute of play. Pasinler SK's Kurtuluş Aktemur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Kutsi İçöz in the 65th minute of play. REAL MERSİN's Ahmet Vefik Barkın got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th match minute, REAL MERSİN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emir Cansoy to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd match minute, REAL MERSİN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Başaran Suavi to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Harun Kumanbay was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ahmet Kutsi İçöz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Kurtuluş Aktemur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. REAL MERSİN had played much better football throughout.
