A collision led to Kaptan FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ali Cengiz Özerkin hit a great ball. Lara's İslam Eraltay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Lara from getting a goal against them. Ferhan Gencay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. İslam Eraltay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lara fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! If Mücahit Temizalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
