When Arif Ozan Çağkar fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saraybahce's protests and gave Arif Ozan Çağkar a yellow card for diving instead. 9 minutes into the match, Cubuk's goal looked a bit too open when Lütfullah Elçin came free, but Yaman Tulun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Cubuk defense, Lütfullah Elçin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yaman Tulun. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feyzullay Ökmen during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Saraybahce's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cubuk the free kick. Cubuk's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
