In the 17th match minute, Ondokuzmayis JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Hayri Ünlüer to maneuver through the defense. Affan Eryavuz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Özgün İrgun. Ondokuzmayis JK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Halit Fahri Uysal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Özgün İrgun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Varol Hatmi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Özgün İrgun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nazım Hancı in the 21st minute of the match. Özgün İrgun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Halit Fahri Uysal in the 27th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in My LoVe J's zone, Talat Serkan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hüseyin Can Bircan came out of the goal and Talat Serkan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hüseyin Can Bircan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basri Secahat in the 34th minute of the match. Hüseyin Can Bircan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Talat Serkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 39 minutes, Bedrettin Vala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ondokuzmayis JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bedrettin Vala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ahmet Necdet İskenderoğlu hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in My LoVe J's zone, Basri Secahat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hüseyin Can Bircan came out of the goal and Basri Secahat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bedrettin Vala's late challenge caught a My LoVe J's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bedrettin Vala helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ondokuzmayis JK getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Bedrettin Vala hit a great ball. In the 46th match minute, Ondokuzmayis JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bedrettin Vala to maneuver through the defense. In the 49th minute of the match My LoVe J got a corner. Ondokuzmayis JK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Affan Eryavuz ran over to the corner to take the kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Talat Serkan made a kick off. Dinçer Sayman's late challenge caught a Ondokuzmayis JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dinçer Sayman helped the player get up and apologised. Besim Özbilir, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Talat Serkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüseyin Can Bircan having to interfere. Hüseyin Can Bircan was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Talat Serkan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Talat Serkan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Nazım Hancı might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Özgün İrgun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nazım Hancı ran back to his position shaking his head. Nazım Hancı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özgün İrgun having to interfere. Talat Serkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the game, Fuat Tamer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ondokuzmayis JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave My LoVe J the free kick. In the 81st minute, Fuat Tamer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of My LoVe J booed when Ondokuzmayis JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raşit Temirhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ondokuzmayis JK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
