The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oğuz Özden during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in GAZİANTEP's zone, Hüseyin Cahit Kadirsah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tuna Tokcan came out of the goal and Hüseyin Cahit Kadirsah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andaç Okergun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuna Tokcan having to interfere. A collision led to GAZİANTEP getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Raşit İkinci hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüseyin Cahit Kadirsah in the 16th minute of play forced GAZİANTEP's goalkeeper Tuna Tokcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes GAZİANTEP got a freekick which was hit by Şeray Aktürk. Tuna Tokcan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hüseyin Cahit Kadirsah, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Tuna Tokcan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüseyin Cahit Kadirsah in the 22nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the AYDIN SPOR defense, Anıl Baran Ömür kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tolga Demiray. The AYDIN SPOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tolga Demiray should have stopped the shot. Tuna Tokcan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andaç Okergun's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the match, GAZİANTEP's goal looked a bit too open when Andaç Okergun came free, but Tuna Tokcan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th match minute, AYDIN SPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esat Salat to maneuver through the defense. Tolga Demiray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuğrul Vecdi in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andaç Okergun in the 46th minute of play forced GAZİANTEP's goalkeeper Tuna Tokcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oğuz Özden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tuğrul Vecdi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tuğrul Vecdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tuğrul Vecdi in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tolga Demiray saved AYDIN SPOR from getting behind. After a rather tough play, AYDIN SPOR's Hüseyin Cahit Kadirsah got a free kick in the 64th minute. Tuna Tokcan made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Andaç Okergun sent off a good shot on target. Hüseyin Cahit Kadirsah might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tuna Tokcan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hüseyin Cahit Kadirsah ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 80th match minute, AYDIN SPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aktuğ Salat to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüseyin Cahit Kadirsah in the 84th minute of play forced GAZİANTEP's goalkeeper Tuna Tokcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 played minutes GAZİANTEP got a freekick which was hit by Şeray Aktürk. After having played for 90 minutes, Şeray Aktürk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GAZİANTEP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şeray Aktürk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anıl Baran Ömür sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The AYDIN SPOR players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented GAZİANTEP from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
