Müjdat Rebi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fırat Sahat having to interfere. Fırat Sahat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zühtü Terim in the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Müjdat Rebi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fırat Sahat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Talimhane booed when Caldiran SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulaş Tekalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Talimhane's Mehmet Fatih Öktuğ ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Buğra Arslantürk. Ruhi Rafi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 33rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Fırat Sahat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zühtü Terim in the 35th minute of play. Talimhane's Fırat Sahat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Müjdat Rebi in the 37th minute of play. Zühtü Terim succeeded in the game's 45th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Asım Arif Doğanten fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caldiran SK's protests and gave Asım Arif Doğanten a yellow card for diving instead. Asım Arif Doğanten kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Müjdat Rebi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fırat Sahat having to make a save. With a little luck, Talimhane's Fırat Sahat got control of the ball when Zühtü Terim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Caldiran SK's Müjdat Rebi got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Talimhane's Fırat Sahat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Müjdat Rebi in the 88th minute of play. Tevfik Cevher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulaş Tekalp was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 96 played minutes Caldiran SK got a freekick which was hit by Ulaş Tekalp. Caldiran SK played a much better game than Talimhane and deserved their victory. The Talimhane players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
