An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 7th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Oğuz Ümit managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bilecikspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Oğuz Ümit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehdi Yaman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oğuz Ümit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehdi Yaman having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Bilecikspor got a freekick which was hit by Battal Gazi Çeliktaş. Bilecikspor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arın Perkin to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Işık Öksüz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bilecikspor and the Arsin players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Arsin booed when Bilecikspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Işık Öksüz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Suphi Durualp came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Bilecikspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Suphi Durualp couldn't finish the play.
