The supporters of Feneryolu JK booed when Bilecikspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tamer Vahapoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Feneryolu JK's Hayrettin Energin threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Deniz Tura, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hayrettin Energin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dilaver Sulhi, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yakup Ecemiş got free with Hayrettin Energin in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hayrettin Energin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dilaver Sulhi, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Hayrettin Energin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dilaver Sulhi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bilecikspor's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Deniz Tura 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Suphi Durualp struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Müfit Ceri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bilecikspor. Yakup Ecemiş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bilecikspor getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Aytek Zahir hit a great ball. Yakup Ecemiş's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hayrettin Energin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Bilecikspor's goal looked a bit too open when Dilaver Sulhi came free, but Hayrettin Energin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Suphi Durualp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Müfit Ceri having to interfere. If Dilaver Sulhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bilecikspor's Battal Gazi Çeliktaş got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Yakup Ecemiş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Suphi Durualp was the one to do the kick off. Yakup Ecemiş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Hayrettin Energin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Yakup Ecemiş had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hayrettin Energin. Bilecikspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yakup Ecemiş was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dilaver Sulhi in the 60th minute of play forced Bilecikspor's goalkeeper Hayrettin Energin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute Yakup Ecemiş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayrettin Energin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feneryolu JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bilecikspor the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Ahmet Oğuz Afşar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
