Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Reşit Rekin started the match with the kick off. Besim Tokuzer took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bekir Talu. Bekir Talu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 7 minutes, Reşit Rekin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yesilyurt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reşit Rekin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reşit Rekin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Haydar Özil came out and tried to block the shot, but Reşit Rekin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 9th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Yesilyurt's Reşit Rekin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Haydar Özil. That made the score 2-1 after 12 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hakan Turay during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Reşit Rekin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Haydar Özil having to make a save. Haydar Özil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reşit Rekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Besim Tokuzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, KARTAL YUVASI's Ahmet Kutsi Keskiner got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Battal Tuğaltay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Haydar Özil was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Battal Tuğaltay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
With a couple of smart ball manuevers Battal Tuğaltay in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haydar Özil saved KARTAL YUVASI from getting behind. Haydar Özil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reşit Rekin in the 65th minute of the match. When Reşit Rekin came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Yesilyurt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reşit Rekin couldn't finish the play. The supporters of KARTAL YUVASI booed when Yesilyurt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rahim Kutlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Asım Yılğıralp's late challenge caught a KARTAL YUVASI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Asım Yılğıralp helped the player get up and apologised. İlker Zabit missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 78 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Bekir Talu right hand side. Asım Yılğıralp got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 79 minutes into the game, one of Yesilyurt:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bekir Talu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Besim Tokuzer in the 86th minute of play. Bekir Talu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cankut Baybora went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. Yesilyurt's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
