Ahmet Erdem Çile shot a long shot in the 11th minute and a light blocked Hakan Adıvar hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Gümüshane JK's Yakup Kadri Taygar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hakan Adıvar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ferhan Bayezits short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Hakan Adıvar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 31 minutes, Yakup Kadri Taygar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gümüshane JK and the Sabanözü FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Gümüshane JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yakup Kadri Taygar to maneuver through the defense. Aşkın Aynacı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şemsettin Yunus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yağızalp Okanay in the 42nd minute of play forced Sabanözü FK's goalkeeper Hakan Adıvar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hakan Adıvar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yağızalp Okanay, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Sabanözü FK's Hakan Adıvar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yağızalp Okanay in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Yağızalp Okanay made the kick off in the second half. Şemsettin Yunus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aşkın Aynacı having to interfere. Yağızalp Okanay struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Hakan Adıvar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gümüshane JK. Yağızalp Okanay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Hakan Adıvar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gümüshane JK's Ahmet Hasan Özilhan got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 76 minutes of play Gümüshane JK's Yakup Kadri Taygar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Yakup Kadri Taygar hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Sabanözü FK's Hakan Adıvar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferhan Bayezit in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Muharrem Dede was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sabanözü FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gümüshane JK the free kick. In the 81st minute, one of Sabanözü FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sabanözü FK. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Aşık Öğüç managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sabanözü FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Aşık Öğüç was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aşkın Aynacı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hakan Adıvar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferhan Bayezit in the 99th minute of play.
