After 4 played minutes, Kozakli SK's Mesut Kuman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alim Uçhan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kozakli SK reached it. Zaid Akdurmuş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mümtazer Talik's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Turabi Tanaltan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alim Uçhan having to interfere. The supporters of Kozakli SK booed when Eldivan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cabbar Şavat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uygur İncesu took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alim Uçhan. Alim Uçhan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 27th minute, Ali Macit Vatansever left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eldivan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 32nd minute, Cabbar Şavat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd match minute, Eldivan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Macit Vatansever to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Eldivan fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! Ali Emir Savtekin shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Cabbar Şavat hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Uygur İncesu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alim Uçhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 49th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Altan Demirezen to strike the kick off in the second half. Alim Uçhan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uygur İncesu's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Alim Uçhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uygur İncesu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Kozakli SK's Uygur İncesu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alim Uçhan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Uygur İncesu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alim Uçhan was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uygur İncesu in the 67th minute of play forced Eldivan's goalkeeper Alim Uçhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Tekin Bir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
