Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Süleyman Hataylı got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Samatya booed when Gölmarmara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulvi Özdek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yetkiner Mecit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nurettin Cevval having to interfere. The shot was stopped by Abdurrahim Şengil but with some difficulty. Samatya's Aytunç İstikbal got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Tolga Uzel came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Gölmarmara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tolga Uzel couldn't finish the play. Tolga Uzel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Abdurrahim Şengil made a huge save. 26 minutes into the game, Necip Bağcıoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gölmarmara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Samatya the free kick. A collision led to Gölmarmara getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Gölmarmara's Nurettin Cevval played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Süleyman Hataylı in the 42nd minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the match was over Samatya could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gölmarmara throughout the match.
