The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Abdullah Tunçöven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oğuzcan Yetener, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Sezer Kıralp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdullah Tunçöven having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Ahirli's Ahmet Fikret Tecen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cuma Parshan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ahmet Fikret Tecen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oğuzcan Yetener to make the kick off. Ahirli's supporters rose to their feet, but Kutay Şafakoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cuma Parshan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cuma Parshan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ahirli. Ahirli's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
