Ahmet Yahya Atasoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yaşar Nuri Tankut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Yahya Atasoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaşar Nuri Tankut in the 3rd minute of play. Agah Akoğul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çağatay Emiroğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 7 minutes, Yaşar Nuri Tankut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Istinye's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yaşar Nuri Tankut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sinan Erdursun struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Ahmet Yahya Atasoy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Istinye. When Ali Erdem Mecnun fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gazipasa SK's protests and gave Ali Erdem Mecnun a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, Ali Erdem Mecnun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Nedim Akadlı kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to Istinye getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Şehzade Elçin hit a great ball. Yaşar Nuri Tankut did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Ahmet Yahya Atasoy 24 minutes into the match. After 28 played minutes Gazipasa SK got a freekick which was hit by Karahan Kaygun. Ahmet Yahya Atasoy was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Yaşar Nuri Tankut capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yaşar Nuri Tankut really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Yaşar Nuri Tankut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute, Ahmet Nedim Akadlı ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet Yahya Atasoy was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 36 minutes into the game, Karahan Kaygun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gazipasa SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Istinye the free kick. Karahan Kaygun kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Gazipasa SK's Ahmet Yahya Atasoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yaşar Nuri Tankut in the 37th minute of play. Ahmet Nedim Akadlı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Yahya Atasoy having to interfere. 40 minutes into the game, Yaşar Nuri Tankut lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Ahmet Yahya Atasoy. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Ahmet Nedim Akadlı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Istinye's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Nedim Akadlı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Yahya Atasoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Bahattin Nezih fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gazipasa SK's protests and gave Bahattin Nezih a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th match minute, Gazipasa SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bahattin Nezih to maneuver through the defense.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yaşar Nuri Tankut stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Ali Erdem Mecnun made a precise shot to the right of Agah Akoğul. Istinye's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Karahan Kaygun kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yaşar Nuri Tankut in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Yahya Atasoy saved Gazipasa SK from getting behind. Ahmet Nedim Akadlı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Ahmet Yahya Atasoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Istinye's Agah Akoğul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Resulhan Berat in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Istinye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Nedim Akadlı to maneuver through the defense. Müjdat Taki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Şehzade Elçin during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 76 played minutes Istinye got a freekick which was hit by Şehzade Elçin. Istinye's Ahmet Nedim Akadlı pulled a muscle in his leg after 82 minutes and couldn't finish the game. During the 83rd minute of the match Karahan Kaygun completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Karahan Kaygun a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Istinye made a substitution. Güney Şahsuvaroğlu replaced Ahmet Nedim Akadlı. After 84 played minutes Gazipasa SK got a freekick which was hit by Karahan Kaygun. In the 89th minute, Mehmet Çağrı Ertaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Sinan Erdursun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agah Akoğul made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Çağatay Emiroğlu sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gazipasa SK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Istinye.
