When Orbay Birhan came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Kofcaz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orbay Birhan couldn't finish the play. Onurhan Aral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 17 played minutes, Florya JK's Münir Ungur shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ergün Bicanoğlu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Florya JK reached it. Azmi Ağca charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 21 minutes, Ertan Yaruk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Florya JK and the Kofcaz players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Onurhan Aral in the 37th minute of play forced Kofcaz's goalkeeper Ergün Bicanoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ergün Bicanoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Onurhan Aral, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 48th minute, Orbay Birhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orbay Birhan to make the kick off. Ertan Yaruk ran back to his position shaking his head. If Esat Hinoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orbay Birhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ertaç Baybora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orbay Birhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ertaç Baybora having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Esat Hinoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ertan Yaruk who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Ergün Bicanoğlu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Onurhan Aral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ergün Bicanoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ergün Bicanoğlu made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Ertan Yaruk sent off a good shot on target.
