But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdulaziz Renan couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the match, Basyayla's goal looked a bit too open when Gürhan Tangun came free, but İskender Atay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Abdulaziz Renan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egemen Senih. ANKARAGÜCÜ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdulaziz Renan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 21st minute, Hasan Ali Ozanalp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Egemen Senih was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hasan Ali Ozanalp in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egemen Senih saved ANKARAGÜCÜ from getting behind. If Abdulaziz Renan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Basyayla booed when ANKARAGÜCÜ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gani Özerkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Abdulaziz Renan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
