In the 21st match minute, Evren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aykan Siraceddin to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the TRABZONSPOR defense, Mete Belge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mads Bangert. The TRABZONSPOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mads Bangert should have stopped the shot. Evren's Tolga Kultigin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Evren from getting a goal against them. Sezen Ongunsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Tolga Kultigin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Burhanettin Ruşeni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sezen Ongunsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolga Kultigin having to interfere. If Nejat Alp Polatalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Fazıl Hüsnü Derim managed to get in a good position for a shot. TRABZONSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Fazıl Hüsnü Derim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
