Mümin Toktahan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cevat Ataner in the 12th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Zühtü Hürol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ofspor SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Zühtü Hürol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seyfi Haliloğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yüksel Işınay in the 18th minute of play forced Ofspor SK's goalkeeper Mümin Toktahan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mümin Toktahan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cevat Ataner, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Seyfi Haliloğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zühtü Hürol's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. When Vahap Kutlay came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Ofspor SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vahap Kutlay couldn't finish the play. After having played for 66 minutes, Zühtü Hürol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ofspor SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zühtü Hürol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Real Çorum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vahap Kutlay came free, but Seyfi Haliloğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yüksel Işınay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mümin Toktahan having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Vahap Kutlay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seyfi Haliloğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Binali Şahtürk during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yüksel Işınay got free with Mümin Toktahan in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 78th play minute Cevat Ataner came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mümin Toktahan. 2-2. Seyfi Haliloğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vahap Kutlay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Real Çorum FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ofspor SK had controlled the match.
