Sarayönü's Reis Derman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszko Kosmatka in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Sarayönü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alican Erakalın to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ufuk Erek made a kick off. In the 55th minute Mustafa Kemal Semih shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüştü Gençoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Sarayönü booed when ÇANAKKALE 1915 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ştefan Iureș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reis Derman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbyszko Kosmatka in the 84th minute of the match. With his leg Reis Derman managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when ÇANAKKALE 1915's Boguslaw Solecki fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Zbyszko Kosmatka scored 2-3 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reis Derman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
