Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mansur Akersoy made the kick off which started today's match. Mansur Akersoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuddusî Baldemir having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Mansur Akersoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esenler FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mansur Akersoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kuddusî Baldemir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esenler FK's Güvenç Yaşanur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alişan Seylan in the 21st minute of play. Güvenç Yaşanur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alişan Seylan, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Kuddusî Baldemir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mansur Akersoy in the 30th minute of play. Melih Toktuğ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güvenç Yaşanur having to interfere. When Esenler FK's Mansur Akersoy in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gölköy's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alişan Seylan in the 46th minute of play forced Esenler FK's goalkeeper Güvenç Yaşanur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alişan Seylan made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Melih Toktuğ notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Esenler FK's Güvenç Yaşanur. Güvenç Yaşanur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Alişan Seylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gölköy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
