In the last second Güvenç Yaşanur throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ali Orhan Salti in the 9thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 12th minute, Altay Akergin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esenler FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 19th match minute, Esenler FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çelebi Alişan to maneuver through the defense. Güvenç Yaşanur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Orhan Salti in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Ali Orhan Salti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Güvenç Yaşanur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 36 minutes into the game, Halil Utku Durcan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esenler FK the free kick. Halil Utku Durcan kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, SAR's goal looked a bit too open when Mansur Akersoy came free, but Arda Ozan Sarıoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Güral Uran received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Güvenç Yaşanur came out and tried to block the shot, but Güral Uran slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute, Esenler FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ali Orhan Salti fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mansur Akersoy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Mansur Akersoy came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Esenler FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mansur Akersoy couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, SAR's Hamza Akaydın got a free kick in the 52nd minute. A collision led to SAR getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Aybars Ozanalp hit a great ball. Arda Ozan Sarıoğlu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 63rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Seyrani Yağızbay. Genco Kutulmuş kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Altay Akergin in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arda Ozan Sarıoğlu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Esenler FK getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Mehmet Arif Bozyiğit hit a great ball. In the 84th minute Ali Orhan Salti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güvenç Yaşanur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arda Ozan Sarıoğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Altay Akergin went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Esenler FK's Mehmet Arif Bozyiğit got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Esenler FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Esenler FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
