Özer Saltar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gürol Çavas came out and tried to block the shot, but Özer Saltar slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. Özer Saltar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Cankut Budak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gürol Çavas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özer Saltar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Karakocan JK's Gürol Çavas got control of the ball when Cankut Budak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gürol Çavas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özer Saltar in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match Arif Çelebi Tefhim shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Şenol Çaykara showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Ulvi İnanöz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tunceli SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulvi İnanöz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gürol Çavas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute Özer Saltar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gürol Çavas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Karakocan JK booed when Tunceli SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. İrfan Hattat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Karakocan JK's goalkeeper Gürol Çavas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Özer Saltar to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özer Saltar in the 57th minute of play forced Karakocan JK's goalkeeper Gürol Çavas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 minutes, Ulvi İnanöz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tunceli SK and the Karakocan JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Şenol Çaykara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alkın Peker in the 60th minute of the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Karakocan JK's Alkın Peker in the 63rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Şenol Çaykara was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Tunceli SK through an amazing save. In the 64th minute Alemdar Erginsoy suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Tunceli SK's Ulvi İnanöz got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. The referee ordered Ulvi İnanöz off the ground. In the 65th match minute, Tunceli SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulvi İnanöz to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Recep Erduran could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Şenol Çaykara however easily saved by the left post. Cankut Budak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 75th minute, Recep Erduran fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Şenol Çaykara, passed just outside the right post. When Cengizhan Unsur came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Tunceli SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cengizhan Unsur couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the match, Cankut Budak notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Karakocan JK's Gürol Çavas. Gürol Çavas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gürol Çavas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cankut Budak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
