Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Özen Koryürek got the match started through his kick off. A hard shot by Ergün Yerel from long distance, 4 minutes into the match, got Sarp Şahinter's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A hard shot 5 in the game by Mert Tolgay from a close distance when the talented Sarp Şahinter managed to make a qualified save. Galatasaray's players were relieved. After 7 minutes of play, KARŞIYAKA's Mert Tolgay made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sarp Şahinter was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aytaç Vechi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Acar Eren went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the match, Eşref Onkal notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of KARŞIYAKA's Aytaç Vechi. Aytaç Vechi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17th minute, Mert Tolgay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Acar Eren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, KARŞIYAKA's Sarp Şahinter threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Özen Koryürek, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kutlualp Nuh struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Aytaç Vechi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galatasaray. Özen Koryürek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Sarp Şahinter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Acar Eren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mert Tolgay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sarp Şahinter having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Acar Eren to strike the kick off in the second half. Sarp Şahinter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özen Koryürek, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute of the match Ali Erdem Serimer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sarp Şahinter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 54 minutes, Mert Salih mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galatasaray and the KARŞIYAKA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes Galatasaray got a freekick which was hit by Mert Salih. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mert Tolgay in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sarp Şahinter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Acar Eren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eşref Onkal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Aytaç Vechi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 69 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's Acar Eren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aytaç Vechi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kahraman İsmail hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Galatasaray's Ragıp Çelikhan tried to score from far away in the 74th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Eşref Onkal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eşref Onkal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aytaç Vechi having to interfere. Mürsel Taşdemir hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Aytaç Vechi stood somewhat misplaced when Mert Salih came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 86 minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Galatasaray's Acar Eren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aytaç Vechi. That made the score 1-5 after 91 minutes of play. If Eşref Onkal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The KARŞIYAKA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Galatasaray were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
