In the 13th minute Aktuğ Güleç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cumhur Onursay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cavit Soyselçuk in the 16th minute of play forced Yeniçeri Ocağı's goalkeeper Cumhur Onursay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kutlay Barlas kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute of the match Baransel İlkser sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cumhur Onursay skillfully saved the ball. After 23 minutes, Mustafa Birol Sadi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yeniçeri Ocağı and the Ataköy players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Yeniçeri Ocağı booed when Ataköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teoman Uraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hatemi Sehriyar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Onurhan Iğdırlı's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. A collision led to Ataköy getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Eyüp Yılkan hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the match, Ataköy's goal looked a bit too open when Arda Ozan Şömel came free, but Hatemi Sehriyar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Arda Ozan Şömel made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Onurhan Iğdırlı could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Hatemi Sehriyar however easily saved by the left post.
