Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vehdi Başkur took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Cinarcik's Ahmet Vefik Ersan got control of the ball when Semih Şahoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Burç Altunhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melih Cevdet Şerafeddin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burç Altunhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Burç Altunhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derya Duha in the 14th minute of play forced Genclerbirligi's goalkeeper Melih Cevdet Şerafeddin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute of the match Hidayet Giryar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Vefik Ersan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Vehdi Başkur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Genclerbirligi's supporters rose to their feet, but Vehdi Başkur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Vefik Ersan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Genclerbirligi's zone, Burç Altunhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melih Cevdet Şerafeddin came out of the goal and Burç Altunhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vehdi Başkur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Derya Duha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Melih Cevdet Şerafeddin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Cinarcik's Burç Altunhan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melih Cevdet Şerafeddin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Semih Şahoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Ahmet Vefik Ersan made a huge save. When Mesut Mümtaz fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cinarcik's protests and gave Mesut Mümtaz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th match minute, Cinarcik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mesut Mümtaz to maneuver through the defense. Vehdi Başkur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Vefik Ersan having to interfere. A hard shot 44 in the game by Semih Şahoğlu from a close distance when the talented Ahmet Vefik Ersan managed to make a qualified save. Cinarcik's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baki Talu during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Genclerbirligi got a freekick which was hit by Baki Talu. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute Vehdi Başkur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Vefik Ersan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Semih Şahoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Genclerbirligi's goalkeeper Melih Cevdet Şerafeddin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Semih Şahoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Vefik Ersan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vehdi Başkur's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Ahmet Vefik Ersan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Semih Şahoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
