Nusrettin Kahya's late challenge caught a Findikli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nusrettin Kahya helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Sarayköy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nusrettin Kahya to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute Necip Fazıl Ruhsan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Cengiz Özkut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fethi Toygun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Necip Fazıl Ruhsan came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Findikli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Necip Fazıl Ruhsan couldn't finish the play. Mehmet Osman Baysal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mehmet Osman Baysal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüseyin Turan Siddik having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fethi Toygun in the 30th minute of play forced Findikli's goalkeeper Hüseyin Turan Siddik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Fethi Toygun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarayköy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fethi Toygun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ali Cengiz Özkut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Buğra Orgun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Findikli's Necip Fazıl Ruhsan got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Findikli's goalkeeper Hüseyin Turan Siddik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Necip Fazıl Ruhsan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mehmet Osman Baysal to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Necip Fazıl Ruhsan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Findikli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Necip Fazıl Ruhsan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Findikli fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Sarayköy a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mehmet Ediz Somer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Findikli's Hüseyin Turan Siddik. 0-1. With a little luck, Findikli's Hüseyin Turan Siddik got control of the ball when Fethi Toygun tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Fethi Toygun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gökçen Nurkan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ali Cengiz Özkut read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Hüseyin Turan Siddik was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mehmet Osman Baysal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 81 minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Fethi Toygun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mehmet Ediz Somer looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Hüseyin Turan Siddik. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sarayköy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
