In the 24th minute, Azmi Şen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Dikmen's Necaettin Attar got a free kick in the 25th minute. Ant Ortaçgil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vecdi Barkın read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Bahadır Metin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dikmen's supporters rose to their feet, but Bahadır Metin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vecdi Barkın breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Gördes getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Yalçın Muhtar hit a great ball. Azmi Şen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The wind increased when Ant Ortaçgil made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Azmi Şen put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hıdır Akçasu. In the 65th match minute, Dikmen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ertuğrul Kurumer to maneuver through the defense. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hıdır Akçasu came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gördes's Mustafa Barış Zülfikar. But to his dismay, Mustafa Barış Zülfikar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Barış Zülfikar in the 98th minute of play forced Dikmen's goalkeeper Hıdır Akçasu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gördes walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
