The supporters of Gediz booed when Babak SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baturalp İlenç didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hasan Ali Dilşah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gediz's Hasan Ali Dilşah was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Alphan Bengialp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tayfur Bilkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aykan Kuntay made a kick off. Tayfur Bilkan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 53 in the game by Berk Geçer from a close distance when the talented Alphan Bengialp managed to make a qualified save. Gediz's players were relieved. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Berk Geçer put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alphan Bengialp. 60 minutes into the match, Feyyaz Sadun notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Gediz's Alphan Bengialp. Alphan Bengialp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aykan Kuntay in the 67th minute of play forced Babak SK's goalkeeper Talha Namal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feyyaz Sadun hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Aykan Kuntay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gediz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aykan Kuntay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Gediz's goal looked a bit too open when Tayfur Bilkan came free, but Alphan Bengialp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Berk Geçer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alphan Bengialp having to interfere. When Berk Geçer came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Babak SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berk Geçer couldn't finish the play. After having played for 83 minutes, Berk Geçer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Babak SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berk Geçer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Tayfur Bilkan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alphan Bengialp, 1-3. 91 minutes into the match, Gediz's goal looked a bit too open when Tayfur Bilkan came free, but Alphan Bengialp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Berk Geçer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Alphan Bengialp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
