Olcay Orkun Şerafeddin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuzey Üstay having to interfere. Altuğ Zakir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Üzeyir Özmut in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute Boğaç Beşir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuzey Üstay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Hayrettin Muharrem's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kuzey Üstay was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Gafur Onay kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Gökcan Özakan charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kuzey Üstay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kuzey Üstay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hayrettin Muharrem went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Mardin FK's Boğaç Beşir in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Finike FK's goalie prevented a goal. Olcay Orkun Şerafeddin hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Behram Genç was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Sacit Şensal came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Finike FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sacit Şensal couldn't finish the play. When Mardin FK's Hayrettin Muharrem in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After the first half Mardin FK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Sacit Şensal made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Finike FK's goal looked a bit too open when Boğaç Beşir came free, but Kuzey Üstay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kuzey Üstay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boğaç Beşir in the 57th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Boğaç Beşir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kuzey Üstay was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Finike FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mardin FK:s goal. Kuzey Üstay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boğaç Beşir in the 68th minute of the match. Kuzey Üstay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boğaç Beşir in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Mardin FK booed when Finike FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gafur Onay didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78thth minute of the game Boğaç Beşir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Finike FK's Kuzey Üstay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Olcay Orkun Şerafeddin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mardin FK's Hayrettin Muharrem got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Finike FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Boğaç Beşir scored to the left of an out of position Kuzey Üstay, making the score, 0-3. In the 91st minute, Murathan Akaydın got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Mardin FK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Finike FK throughout the match.
