After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Abdi Saygın Erdönmez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bağcılarspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdi Saygın Erdönmez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kubat İşkembeci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kadri Bala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asım Arif Afşaroğlu having to interfere. A collision led to Bağcılarspor getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Şafak Akbaşak hit a great ball. Asım Arif Afşaroğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çağan Rafih in the 30th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Abdi Saygın Erdönmez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kubat İşkembeci. Abdi Saygın Erdönmez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A hard shot 40 in the game by Volkan Orgunalp from a close distance when the talented Kubat İşkembeci managed to make a qualified save. F.C.FENERBAHÇE FK's players were relieved. Abdi Saygın Erdönmez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Kubat İşkembeci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. F.C.FENERBAHÇE FK's Kubat İşkembeci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdi Saygın Erdönmez in the 44th minute of play. If Çağan Rafih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Çağan Rafih to strike the kick off in the second half. Kubat İşkembeci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdi Saygın Erdönmez in the 58th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Volkan Orgunalp sped through F.C.FENERBAHÇE FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kubat İşkembeci. An unexpectedly hard shot by Volkan Orgunalp in the 67th minute of play forced F.C.FENERBAHÇE FK's goalkeeper Kubat İşkembeci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Abdi Saygın Erdönmez made a precise shot to the right of Kubat İşkembeci. F.C.FENERBAHÇE FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After 72 minutes, Mümin Senih mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C.FENERBAHÇE FK and the Bağcılarspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bağcılarspor's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
