Mazhar Hurmacı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Arif Orak in the 17th minute of play. If Bengt Bergman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Okan Bayülgen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pink Panthers's Okan Bayülgen got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Turabi Topçam struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Enis Behiç Teber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pink Panthers. 0-2 became the score in the 38th minute when Okan Bayülgen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Enis Behiç Teber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Okan Bayülgen in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Turabi Topçam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Turabi Topçam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enis Behiç Teber having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Enis Behiç Teber came out of the goal and Turabi Topçam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 69 minutes, Turabi Topçam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pink Panthers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Turabi Topçam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Turabi Topçam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 72 minutes into the match, Okan Bayülgen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Enis Behiç Teber, 0-4. Turabi Topçam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enis Behiç Teber having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Turabi Topçam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Günyüzü FK's Enis Behiç Teber got control of the ball when Okan Bayülgen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pink Panthers's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
