Mustafa Orhan Balısoy started the match with the kick off. Erbatur Güler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. İlyas Erek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kamber Türe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlyas Erek having to interfere. gönenspor's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kamber Türe 12 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 20th minute, Suphi Rüşti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Srahozspor's Muhammet Erginay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gürbüz Yıldızhan in the 22nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Erbatur Güler could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which İlyas Erek however easily saved by the left post. Mustafa Orhan Balısoy scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Muhammet Erginay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Gürbüz Yıldızhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes in the game, Mustafa Orhan Balısoy dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Ahmet Turan Ahsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Srahozspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave gönenspor the free kick. Ahmet Turan Ahsen kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Nadir İskandil took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Muhammet Erginay. Srahozspor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Orhan Balısoy in the 38th minute of play forced Srahozspor's goalkeeper Muhammet Erginay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mustafa Orhan Balısoy took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Muhammet Erginay. Muhammet Erginay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Gürbüz Yıldızhan came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the gönenspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gürbüz Yıldızhan couldn't finish the play. Muhammet Erginay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Orhan Balısoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Gürbüz Yıldızhan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Muhammet Erginay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. The long shot by Nejat Alp Köker in the 58th minute really tested Muhammet Erginay's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Gürbüz Yıldızhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gürbüz Yıldızhan struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Muhammet Erginay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for gönenspor. When Erbatur Güler came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Srahozspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erbatur Güler couldn't finish the play. Kamber Türe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
