The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baybars Kaya during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Yiğit Can Adaş was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enginalp Yaman in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baran Karabulut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vacid Batıray to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Demiralp Toydemir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Demiralp Toydemir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Yiğit Can Adaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 minutes of play Kusadasi FK's Göksel Açar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a defensive mix-up in GALATASARAY 1905's zone, Mithat Kadir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baran Karabulut came out of the goal and Mithat Kadir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY 1905's Gencal Civan got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute, Demiralp Toydemir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Mithat Kadir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aktaç Altuncuoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Baran Karabulut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enis Candaner kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Demiralp Toydemir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enis Candaner hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 89thth minute of the game Mithat Kadir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GALATASARAY 1905's Baran Karabulut was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vacid Batıray kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The GALATASARAY 1905 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GALATASARAY 1905 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
