Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emiliano Maurin started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Emiliano Maurin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cankaya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Petkim getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ali Vedat Tecimer hit a great ball. In the 14th minute Emiliano Maurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ensar Orgen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 minutes, Emiliano Maurin made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Petkim's Ensar Orgen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Petkim's goalkeeper Ensar Orgen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Albano Felipillo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute Emiliano Maurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ensar Orgen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ensar Orgen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Weather, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Petkim:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cankaya:s goal. Erkin İmamoğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rahmi Taze in the 38th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Petkim's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Weather came free, but Ensar Orgen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erkin İmamoğlu made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Rahmi Taze sent off a good shot on target. Petkim's Ensar Orgen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Maurin in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Cankaya were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdi Bal was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Abdi Bal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erkin İmamoğlu. Cankaya's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdi Bal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The audience was convinced that Emiliano Maurin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ensar Orgen was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. The supporters of Cankaya booed when Petkim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armağan Öğüç didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Maximo Weather left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cankaya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Cankaya's Emiliano Maurin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ensar Orgen. That made the score 1-5 after 72 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cankaya's zone, Raşit Yonal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erkin İmamoğlu came out of the goal and Raşit Yonal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the game, Petkim's Raşit Yonal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erkin İmamoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Maximo Weather struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Ensar Orgen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cankaya. After having played for 96 minutes, Maximo Weather managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cankaya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximo Weather was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cankaya eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
