In the 9thth minute of the game Turan Akdal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sogukkuyu's Atilla Pakel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sogukkuyu's Atilla Pakel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salih Tosun in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Sogukkuyu's goalkeeper Atilla Pakel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hatemi Bayram. Ediz Nesil hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Atilla Pakel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Turan Akdal, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, Kozakli's Hatemi Bayram got a free kick in the 18th minute. Arif Ensar Honazlı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samet Uğuray in the 19th minute of the match. If Ahmet Efe Bağdaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atilla Pakel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Turan Akdal went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute, Ediz Nesil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Efe Bağdaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Ensar Honazlı having to interfere. In the 35th minute Turan Akdal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilla Pakel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hatemi Bayram got free with Atilla Pakel in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atilla Pakel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sezen Sözer in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alparslan Akbal in the 40th minute of play forced Kozakli's goalkeeper Arif Ensar Honazlı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Hatemi Bayram kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Atilla Pakel. That made the score 3-0 in the 42 minute of play. Alparslan Akbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Ensar Honazlı having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Turan Akdal to make the kick off.
